Rails 2.0 is finally here!

Posted on: December 10, 2007

After approximately a year, Rails 2.0 has been released. With new features, tons of fixes, and a little bit of polishing up, they’ve made 2.0 to be more “coherent and lean”. Here is a short list of what’s new in Rails 2.0:

Action Pack: Resources: (They say that this is where the bulk of the action for 2.0 has gone)
Record identification
HTTP Loving (Gotta love the title)
Exception handling
Cookie store sessions
New request profiler

And so much more with “literally hundreds of bug fixes, tweaks, and feature enhancements crammed into Rails 2.0″. Check out the release update with an extensive list of upgraded features on the Riding Rails page.
